Embracing Innovation for Smarter Property Management
In April 2022, Shore Commercial transitioned from an outdated, residential-focused system that lacked the visibility needed for proactive planning. The previous platform created significant challenges—meetings were unstructured, task management was inefficient, and workflows suffered.
Grant Duff, Head of Asset Management, highlights the impact of Re-Leased:
"Immediately after our transition to Re-Leased we noticed a dramatic increase in our capability to track, manage and report on all of the critical events and dates in our portfolio. "
With Re-Leased, tasks, reminders, and file notes keep everything organised, while the dashboard provides real-time oversight. Meetings are now more focused, ensuring key updates, lease expiries, and priorities are quickly addressed. With improved structure and visibility, the team operates more confidently and efficiently.
Driving Efficiency and Business Growth
By leveraging a smarter property management solution, Shore Commercial has increased its ability in proactiveness and scalable operation.
The team can anticipate issues before they escalate, providing valuable insights to senior management and clients. With better efficiency and decision-making, the company has expanded its property management portfolio without increasing headcount. Stronger tenant engagement—through early lease expiry discussions and proactive solutions—has reinforced landlord-tenant relationships, boosting retention and unlocking new leasing opportunities.

Unlocking Efficiency with Credia AI
Credia AI has automated time-consuming administrative tasks, enabling the team to focus on high-value activities while managing over 300 properties and 400 tenancies more efficiently.
Tasks that once took on average 5–6 minutes—such as processing emails, suggesting actions, and updating workflows—are now completed in under 30 seconds. Lease data entry has been optimised, requiring only a quick review instead of manual input.
Routine tenant requests, such as reporting a maintenance issue, are processed seamlessly. AI reads incoming emails, generates maintenance tasks, and suggests next steps, expediting work order issuance. Compliance management has also been streamlined, with AI summarising documents and updating records in Re-Leased, reducing the workload on critical yet time-intensive processes.
“When all of that is taken care of, you can focus on what really matters—engaging with owners and tenants about their challenges and assisting to provide solutions. That is what makes our role the most rewarding."
Streamlining Compliance and Task Management
Tenant insurance management, once a tedious process, has been transformed. Now, when a tenant emails their certificate, Credia AI instantly processes and summarises it. At the click of a button, the document is stored in Re-Leased, and the tenant’s records are updated—all in under a minute. This automation enhances compliance, eliminating repetitive admin tasks and ensuring records remain up to date.
Task management has also improved with Re-Leased. The dashboard provides clear visibility, helping the team track and complete tasks efficiently. Grant recently adopted Credia AI’s email integration, further streamlining workflows by automatically extracting key details and triggering next steps—eliminating manual input.
Simplifying Task Management and Email Integration
With Re-Leased, task management and reminders ensure nothing is overlooked. All tasks and reminders are displayed on the dashboard, providing clear visibility and easy tracking for the entire team, ensuring the success of both small-scale and high-priority tasks.
Grant recently began using Credia AI’s email integration, streamlining how he processes incoming messages. Previously, he manually copied and pasted email content from Outlook into Credia, allowing AI to read and initiate workflows effectively. However, with the new email integration, this process has become even faster, automatically extracting key details and triggering the next steps without manual input.
As Shore Commercial navigates this new functionality, the team is also exploring how to efficiently organise emails within their existing Outlook folder structure. With numerous subfolders for categories like tenant correspondence and maintenance, they are testing the best way to maintain this system while leveraging Credia AI’s automation. Though still in the early stages, the integration is already proving to be a significant time-saver, reducing administrative effort and improving overall workflow efficiency.

Embracing AI for a More Human-Centred Approach
When first exploring Credia AI, Grant and the team were excited by its potential. The ability to automate repetitive tasks while freeing up time for more meaningful work made an immediate impact.
“Initially, we wondered—will AI replace us? But instead of reducing the need for human expertise, it’s expanding our capacity. We can expand our capabilities, grow the business, and reduce stress, all without increasing headcount.”
By eliminating tedious admin, the team can focus on face-to-face interactions, strengthening client and tenant relationships. Instead of being buried in paperwork, property managers can be more visible and engaged, enhancing their professional presence and driving business growth.
“What people love about this job is being out there—being face to face with owners and tenants, discussing problems and solving them. With Credia AI working in the background, we can focus on what really matters.”
Looking Ahead: The Future of Property Management
By embracing AI-driven automation, they have not only optimised workflows but also redefined the role of property managers—allowing them to work smarter, strengthen relationships, and continue scaling their business.
