Grants for those properties that have a rateable value of £15,000 and under

All businesses (regardless of sector) that occupy a property with a rateable value of £15,000 and under, that are in receipt of small business rates relief or rural rate relief will be eligible for a £10,000 grant.

In addition, those businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors that occupy a property with a rateable value of £15,000 and under, will also be eligible for a £10,000 grant.

We haven’t seen anything to suggest that these are mutually exclusive, so we think that those businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors that are in receipt of small business rates relief should be able to claim both grants (so a total of £20,000).
