At Re-Leased, we believe that levelling up doesn’t just happen with big new features – it happens in the details. The small fixes, the subtle improvements, the everyday refinements that make your work feel smoother and more enjoyable.
That’s what our Customer Love Sprint is all about.
Over the last two weeks, our product teams stepped back to focus on the updates that matter most to you – shaped by your feedback, questions, and wish lists. These sprints demonstrate our appreciation as we build a platform that works harder and smarter for property professionals.
And since this sprint landed right around Halloween, we couldn’t resist giving it a seasonal twist - think of it as us taking the ‘tricks’ out of your workflows and leaving you with all the 'treats'.
Like previous Customer Love Sprints, this round is driven by real customer insight. We’ve removed friction, tightened workflows, and refined everyday experiences across the platform. Less time on the small frustrations means more time for meaningful work – that’s where the real magic happens.
Our Product Managers have created short demos and summaries of what’s new across key areas of Re-Leased. From smoother accounting to clearer operations and communications, these updates make everyday simpler, faster, and more connected.
If you have any questions regarding the improvements or would like to give feedback directly to the Product Manager, we have included everyone’s contact details under their sections below. Please don’t hesitate to let us know what you think - we're excited to hear your thoughts on these updates!
Explore the latest enhancements ('treats')
Bulk Download Owner Statements
Download multiple owner statements at once instead of clicking through one at a time. Select the statements you need, hit download, and you're done.
Exclude Owners with No Activity from Draft Statement
When generating draft owner statements, you can now filter out owners with no activity for the period. No more scrolling through blank statements to find the ones that actually need review. See only what matters and speed up your statement approval process.
Breakdown of Owner Ledger Creditor Amounts
The owner's ledger now shows a detailed breakdown of creditor amounts, so you can see exactly what makes up those balances. No more digging through transaction history to explain a creditor balance to an owner.
Display Ledger Balances in Property View
Ledger balances now appear directly in the property view. Quick visibility into account balances without navigating away from the property screen.
Display Total Amount of Bonds
Bond totals are now displayed at a glance, making it easier to quickly verify the total bond held for a tenancy.
Show Property, Tenancy and Area on Credit Note PDFs
Credit note PDFs now include property, tenancy, and area details. This gives both you and your clients all the context needed to understand what the credit note relates to.
Show Property, Tenancy and Area on Payment Request PDFs
Payment Request PDFs now include property, tenancy, and area details, just like credit notes. All the context you need is right there on the document, making it easier for everyone to understand what's being paid.
Bulk Download Attachments on Expense Invoices
You can now download all attachments from the expense invoices list in one go instead of clicking through them individually.
Show Sent Status for Receipts
Receipts now display a sent status indicator, so you can confirm at a glance whether a receipt has been delivered.
Match Single Bank Transaction to Multiple Payment Requests
You can now match a single bank statement item to multiple unpaid Payment Requests. If a tenant pays three payment requests with one bank transfer, you can match it properly without workarounds or manual adjustments.
Option to Withhold Payment on Expense Invoices
A new option lets you mark expense invoices to withhold payment. Perfect for when you're waiting on additional documentation, approval, or need to hold payment for any other reason.
Close Period Button on Chart of Accounts History Page
The close period button now appears directly on the Close of Period history page. One less navigation step when you're closing your books at month-end. Small change, but it adds up when you're doing this every month.
Order Disbursement Summary Report by Payee Name
The disbursement summary report is now sorted by payee name. Making it much easier to find specific vendors or review payments alphabetically.
Show Tenant Occupied Areas on Commercial Owner Statements
You can now include tenant-occupied area details directly in the detailed commercial owner statement format. This makes it easy to communicate occupancy and vacancy information, giving your owners better visibility into their properties.
Streamlined Onboarding
Step-by-Step Setup for QBO and Xero
Setting up QuickBooks Online and Xero integrations is now guided with a clear step-by-step walkthrough - just like our ERP integrations. No more guessing what to do next.
Smarter Search During Onboarding
When you're matching records during setup, the search now looks at correspondence names too—not just the main name field. So if a contact goes by "ABC Corp" in one system and "ABC Corporation" in another, you'll actually find it now.
Lightning-Fast Sage Intacct Onboarding
For Sage Intacct specifically, we've made onboarding dramatically faster by only pulling the essential fields you need for mapping - contact names, tax codes, account details. No more waiting while unnecessary data loads. Setup that used to take minutes now takes seconds.
Smart Defaults Across Companies
When you connect a new Sage Intacct company, settings like "Due Date equals Posting Date" and "Top Level Syncing" will automatically match your other companies' preferences. One less thing to configure manually.
Sage Intacct Power-ups
Jump to Intacct from Re-Leased
Now for Sage Intacct users, you can click directly from a Re-Leased invoice to view it in Sage Intacct - just like the "Open in Xero" button you know and love. No more manual searching between systems.
Control Your GL Posting Dates
Speaking of control - you now have a setting to decide whether invoice due dates automatically map to GL posting dates in Intacct. Turn it on for automatic mapping, or leave it off to set posting dates manually. Your workflow, your choice.
On-Demand Payment Syncs
And finally for Intacct - payments now sync on-demand, just like they do with Xero. When you edit a payment in Re-Leased, it instantly syncs to Intacct along with the invoice. No more waiting for the next scheduled sync to see your payment reflected.
Smarter Sync Error Handling
Grouped Sync Errors
Sync errors are way less overwhelming now. Instead of seeing 50 identical "contact not found" errors, you'll see one representative error with a button saying "View 49 similar errors." Expand if you need details, collapse to stay focused on the big picture.
Navigate to Root Cause
Even better - when a payment fails because an invoice hasn't synced yet, or an invoice fails because of a missing contact, you can now click directly from the error to the source issue. No more hunting through sync results trying to find what broke first.
Time-Saving Workflow Improvements
Auto-Update Dates When Copying Invoices
Small changes, big impact. When you copy an invoice - say for monthly rent - the issue date now automatically defaults to today, and the due date recalculates based on your payment terms. No more manually updating dates every single time.
Return to Where You Were
After editing a contact, you'll automatically return to that Contact details page when you save. Sounds simple, but it saves you clicks and keeps you in context.
Longer Tax Codes Supported
And finally, for those of you working with longer tax codes, we've extended the character limit from 50 to 80 characters. Your full codes will now display and store without being cut off.
Tenancy Schedule Report Updates
Natural Sorting for Properties and Tenancies
Properties and tenancies now sort in true numerical order (1, 2, 10, 20) instead of alphabetically (1, 10, 2, 20). Works across property names, addresses, and unit numbers.
Sort by Area Suite
New sorting option lets you organise tenancies by suite number, reflecting the physical layout of your properties. Perfect for presenting reports in building order.
Ascending/Descending Toggle for Area Floor
Switch between ascending and descending order when sorting by floor level, giving you complete control over how your report displays.
Granular Property Address Components
Break down property addresses into seven individual fields: apartment number, street name, suburb, city, region, and postcode. Sort and filter at any geographic level.
Tenancy ID Column
Add the tenancy/lease ID to your reports with proper regional terminology. Fully customizable and available in all export formats.
Renewal Option Expiry Date Column
See upcoming renewal deadlines for your entire portfolio in one view. No more checking individual tenancies or running separate reports.
Secondary Property Tracking Code
View both property tracking categories in a single report. Essential for connected accounting customers managing multiple classification systems.
Property Ledger Name Column
Display the default property ledger alongside tenancy information. Eliminates the need to merge multiple exports for arrears validation.
Bond/Deposit Held Column
Show bond amounts held for each tenant with regional terminology (Bond Held for AU/NZ, Cash Security Deposit for US/CA, Deposit Held for UK). Complete financial visibility without generating multiple reports.
Inside Landlord and Tenant Act Column (UK)
UK customers can now track which tenancies fall under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, making compliance reporting effortless.
Area Market Rent Summary Metrics
Two new metrics show your portfolio's market rent potential: total annual market rent and market rent per unit. Toggle on to see opportunity at a glance.
Invoice Details Report Updates
Property Owner Column
Display the full property owner name across all grouping options and display modes. Fully customizable and exports beautifully.
Invoice Line Item Ledger Column
View the ledger code for each invoice line item. Previously only available in the legacy Invoice Details and Payments report.
Overdue Invoices Filter
Instantly identify invoices past their due date with a single checkbox in the Invoice statuses filter.
Tenancies to Include Filter
Analyse expenses at the tenancy level without manual sorting. Select specific tenancies and generate focused reports in seconds.

Documents
Persistent Filters
Your document filters now stick around. Set them once to filter your portfolio by company, properties, or tenancies, and they stay that way when you navigate away. No more resetting every time you come back.
Better Preview
Reading the fine print on a document used to mean downloading the file or slowly zooming in on a tiny window. Now you can expand the preview right here in Re-Leased to see bigger, more readable text. You stay in your workflow without switching between windows or applications.
Search Inside Documents
Type "break clause" or "maintenance responsibility" and the search finds it instantly in the document you're viewing. No more scrolling through pages manually. Just search and jump straight to what you need.
Email
Access Any Folder
Your emails don't all live in your Inbox. Important messages end up organized into specific folders. Now Credia can access any folder in your mailbox: your Inbox, custom folders, whatever you've labeled your supplier communication. You won't miss critical communications just because they ended up somewhere other than your main Inbox. You have complete access to your email universe.
Full Email Thread Processing
Credia now reads your entire email conversation when you get forwarded emails, not just the most recent message. You get all the forwarded content and all the context. It extracts contact info, maintenance tasks, everything from the full thread. And remember, you can always chat with your email to start any task you want.
Faster Intake
Attaching files is now drag and drop instead of a two click process. One smooth action might seem small, but when you're processing dozens of emails, that time saves really stacks up.
Insurance
One unified, simple Interface
Property insurance, tenant insurance, and supplier coverage now all live in one clean interface organised the way you actually think about it. No hunting for the right tab. No guessing which create policy option applies. You use the same simple flow every time, regardless of insurance type.
Batch Upload with Flexible Typing
You get a stack of insurance documents from your broker. Some building policies, some liability, some tenant certificates. Instead of uploading one at a time and deciding types upfront, you can drag them all in at once and then assign types as you go through them. If you have Credia Plus, it extracts the coverage details automatically.
Cleaner Organisation
Your insurance hierarchy now matches how your business thinks about coverage. You spend less time toggling between tabs and less time worrying about errors. More of your energy goes toward actual policy management instead of navigating the interface.
Editable Title for Recurring Tasks
You can now edit the main title of recurring tasks without having to end them and start over. Just update the title and you're done – no more recreating tasks from scratch!
Add Job Title to Contacts
You can now add job titles and roles to your contacts. This makes it much easier to find the right person for specific tasks – no more guessing who does what!
Bulk Task Deletion for Compliance & Maintenance
Cleaning up your task list just got way easier! You can now select and delete multiple maintenance and compliance tasks at once, instead of deleting them one by one.
Send a Copy of Work Order to Landlord/Owner
When sending work orders, you can now tick a box to automatically copy the landlord on the email. Keep property owners in the loop with zero extra effort!
Hyperlink Tenancy Name in Compliance Tasks
Tenancy names in the compliance hub are now clickable links, taking you straight to the tenancy details.
Display Delegated User on Work Orders
Work orders now show both the Property Manager AND the Delegated User, so contractors know exactly who's managing the task.
Hyperlink Functionality in Notes
You can now add clickable links directly to notes!
Include Due Dates in To-Do Emails
Your upcoming events emails now include due dates for each task, making it much easier to prioritise your work.
Add Document Storage to Notes
You’ll be able to attach documents directly to notes for easy reference. No more hunting through document folders to find supporting files!
Enhanced Maintenance Task Display
We're improving how maintenance tasks are displayed, grouping recurring tasks under their parent maintenance jobs (similar to the inspections tab). You'll get a clearer view of what's recurring and what's one-off.
Bulk Task Reassignment Options
When someone leaves your team, you'll be able to quickly reassign their tasks instead of doing it one by one.
Supplier Compliance Status in Preferred Suppliers
We're adding a compliance status column to the preferred suppliers screen, so you can see at a glance which suppliers are compliant for specific maintenance types.
Filter by Contractor in the Compliance Hub
Filter by contractor right within the Property Compliance tab to easily see all compliance items associated with specific contractors.
Pull Property Custom Fields Through to Work Order Template
We're adding the ability to pull property custom fields (like hazard information) into work order templates using merge fields, ensuring contractors automatically get critical property-specific information.
Visual Indicator for Vacating/Vacated Tenants
See tenant status at a glance with clear visual indicators on the tenancy summary and list screens. Instantly identify tenants who are vacating or have vacated - no more confusion or administrative errors.
Generate a Single Invoice for Balancing Charges
Collapse multiple line items into a single invoice for the same tenant on the budget balancing charges page. Simpler invoicing, clearer for tenants.
Maintain Expense to Schedule Allocations when Modifying a Budget
Expense-to-schedule allocations now stay in place when you modify a budget. Your allocation work is preserved - no more re-doing it every time you make changes.
Highlight Disabled Rent Generation in Tenancy
A prominently displayed chip now shows when rent generation is disabled - visible in the Tenancy Summary, main Tenancies page, and Tenancy Schedule Report. You'll never miss this critical status.
View Budget Information within the Properties Hub
A new budget column in the properties hub shows outstanding expense to schedule items at a glance. A clickable link will lead to right to the expense to schedule screen to allocate outstanding expenses.
Automate Arrears Hub Emails & Visibility
Set up automated emails to tenants in arrears under the rule section, with user-defined date triggers. We've also expanded the number of arrears visible on the list page and updated the CTA from "continue" to "send".
Auto Clear Online Payment Reference on Tenancy Archive
The system now automatically clears the 'Online payment reference field' when archiving tenancies, preventing conflicts with new tenancies in the same property or area.
Direct Link from Tenant Balance to Ledger
Navigate directly from the tenant history page ledger balance to the detailed tenant ledger with a single click. No more multiple navigation steps.
Default Tenancy Tile Display Order
Customise and save your preferred ordering of tenancy tiles by expiry date or tenancy name. Your preference persists each time you return to the page.
Outlook calendar reminders now show your availability
Re-Leased reminders syncing to Outlook now appear as "Free" for all-day events, so your calendar shows when you're actually available for meetings.
Switch between companies in Pay Hub
Managing multiple companies? Use the new company selector at the top of Pay Hub navigation - no more trips to settings to switch contexts.
Find payments faster with tenancy info and filters
The payments list now includes tenancy/lease names, plus new sorting and filtering options. Search by date range, status, invoice details, or amounts.
See which invoices are on recurring payments
Invoice lists now display a visual indicator showing which invoices are set up for automatic recurring payments - visible across income, expenses, tenancy, and contact invoices.
Recurring payments now catch backdated invoices
Recurring payments now process any due or upcoming invoice, regardless of issue date. If it's due after your recurring payment setup, it gets paid automatically.
